This week, On The Corner, founding father of On The Corner Marinos Vidiakitis returns and will be bringing some serious heat with him. He's had over 6 months to put this show together so you know its going to be 2 hours of bangers. Marinos currently hosts "Vinyl Monday's" at the legendary Dazzle jazz club in Denver, CO. While he's been away from The Corner for a minute, he's still calling the shots. Consider Phizzy the Franklin to his Gob. Happy Birthday Miles

This week, On The Corner, we'll be celebrating what would have been Miles Davis' 83rd birthday. The man was a genius, plain and simple. We'll be playing some classic and obscure Miles tracks as well as collaborations with John Coltrane and a live recording from Paisley Park with the Purple One. That's right, the Prince of Darkness with Prince. SUMMERTIME

This week, On The Corner, we're celebrating summer. Yeah yeah, I know, summer doesn't officially start until late June but it's 70 degrees and sunny in Minneapolis. We'll take what we can get. Local jazz-fusion group Samosa will be stopping by to play a few tracks and we'll have plenty of summertime tracks to get the season started off proper. If you miss the show, we'll have it archived on our website so you can listen back to it at anytime.
